Our Investment Strategy
In drawing up an investment strategy for you we are aware of the need to consider various alternatives. Although equity investment is likely to be a fundamental part, we appreciate that this should be viewed as a medium to long-term commitment and we fully understand the necessity for you to hold sufficient funds in easily accessible bank or building society accounts. In making recommendations we also consider lower risk investments such as Government Bonds and National Savings as well as tax-efficient ones such as PEPs, ISAs and insurance-related products.
A well balanced portfolio should have some exposure to smaller companies and overseas markets. In order to achieve this we are likely to include Investment Trusts, Unit Trusts and OEICs (Open Ended Investment Companies) in our strategy. We may also invest in Alternative Investments which include Property Funds and Hedge Funds.
